Arrive & get geared up

Check in at reception, sign the waiver, and get fitted with a harness by your instructor.

Safety briefing

Your instructor covers the basic rules of the centre and how to move safely on the wall before you start climbing.

Get on the wall

Time to climb! Your instructor will guide you around the walls, tailoring the session to your group’s pace and confidence.

Taster Session Pricing

1-2 participants €50 total (€50 / €25 per person)
3 participants €60 total (€20 per person)

5–6 participants €96 total (€19.20 / €16 per person)

For groups of 7 participants and above, we operate on banded prices where 1 instructor looks after a maximum of 6 participants. We set this limit of 6 to ensure a fun experience with plenty of climbing. If you have any questions on this or would like to book a group larger than 18 participants, please contact us. All rental equipment is included.

Taster Session FAQs

Can I come on my own?

Taster sessions can accommodate a single participant, though the price is the same as for two participants.

Do I need to book in advance?

Yes, all instructor-led sessions must be booked in advance.

What should I wear?

Comfortable sports clothing and clean trainers. Rings must be removed before climbing. Watches are permitted but may become scratched. Small earrings (not hoops) are fine; long hair should be tied back.

Is equipment included?

Yes, all essential equipment is included in taster sessions and climbing courses.

What is the minimum age?

Children aged 6 and up can take part in taster sessions. There is no upper age limit.

Can my child climb independently after the taster?

Not yet — taster sessions are instructor-led and do not qualify anyone to use the centre independently. For juniors to climb regularly, they will need to be enrolled in a NICAS programme or supervised by a registered adult, i.e., one that has completed an induction course.

I have a large group or am planning a party — can you help?

Yes! You can book groups of up to 18 online. For larger groups, get in touch to discuss your requirements and availability.
