Dublin Climbing Centre hosts unique kids’ birthday parties: active, exciting, and looked after from start to finish by our qualified instructors. Perfect for ages 6 and up, with groups from 6 to 30. These are specially for U18s.

What Happens on the Day
From the moment the kids arrive, our qualified instructors take charge, so parents can relax and enjoy the fun too, or get involved themselves if they’re up for it! We handle all the rope management and safety gear, leaving the kids free to climb, explore, and challenge themselves.
Dublin Climbing Centre’s walls are designed to challenge and delight kids of all abilities. Caves, overhangs, and features like our famous “wellies” keep even the most energetic group entertained. No experience is needed, as our instructors are brilliant with first-timers and are trained in an inclusive “Climbing for All” approach, letting each child go at their own pace.
After an hour on the walls, you will move into our private party room for cakes, lunch, presents, or anything else you’ve planned, a lovely way to round off the adventure.

Everything to Climb
- All climbing equipment and qualified instructors
- 60 minutes of climbing time across our top route walls with fun shapes and challenges like wellies, caves, and overhangs!
- Safety briefing and supervision throughout
- 45 minutes in our party room after climbing – bring your cake, food, and decorations while we provide tables, chairs, and blu-tac to help you finish their big day
Ages & Group Sizes
Birthday parties are open to children aged 6 and over. Groups start from a minimum of 6 and go up to a maximum of 30 participants.
Our instructors are experienced with young climbers of all abilities — no experience needed.
Groups of 7–12 need 2 instructors, 13–18 need 3, and so on. This ensures everyone gets plenty of climbing in and has plenty of fun!

How Pricing Works
Pricing is set in bands based on the number of instructors required for your group, up to a maximum of €510 for 30 children. Each instructor covers up to 6 children.
For groups of 25–30, please contact us to arrange. All equipment is included. Prices shown are for the full group, not per child.
The kids had their birthday party here and the staff could not have been more accommodating and wonderful. The kids were aged between 6 – 9 and every single one of them enjoyed it (most had absolutely no previous climbing experience!)… The staff kept them entertained for an hour, letting the kids dictate how quickly and which walls would be climbed and then we had the party room… which was a wonderful space.
